the famous HUMMINGURU HG01!

I've bought it online from the manufacturer ( LINK ); the shipping takes about four days to reach Italy-very fast!
Now, my impression after washing three very dirty 45 rpm 12" records and two 33 rpm albums.
Now, my impression after washing three very dirty 45 rpm 12" records and two 33 rpm albums.
I've used the same mixture for these records: distilled water with three drops of Small Bottle cleaning agent, the official HumminGuru product.
The three 45s were very dirty, as I said; well, they are reborn! Good basses and clean voices in the listening.
I used the 5 minutes cleaning, aka the deep cleaning process for all records and light drying (selector on I).
Note, the cleaner works with 40 kHz ultrasonic system.
Satisfied!
Unfortunately a little clicks and pops are still audible, but I think these are part of the "vinyl game"-it's inevitable.
I can listen to CDs for a perfect and clean sound.
Well, talking about the two albums I've cleaned:
first was cleaned with the same process used for the 45s; good result.
Second one, washed with the 2 minutes cleaning and dried:
bad result!
At the listening session, the record still sounds bad, with a lot of clicks-not good!
I need to put this record in the HG again, probably.
So, my final impression is OK!
The HumminGuru does the job well but not perfecly; it's a good way to remove huge dirt and dust on old records. You can hear great differences, but don't expect the clean sound of a CD!! For that, you can think of purchasing a Degritter or an AudioDesk, but first: look at the prices of these machines!!
Thanks for reading!
See you on sunday.

A note in italian for italian buyers:
se pensate di acquistare la vostra HumminGuru HG01 (non la Nova!) direttamente dal sito del venditore, tenete presente questi punti:
-ad oggi, Agosto 2025, ha impiegato ad arrivare in Italia circa quattro (4) giorni, nonostante la dogana;
-lo sdoganamento, ad oggi Agosto 2025, mi รจ costato ben 78,05 €.
