New additions! - Feb. 2026

 Two epic additions this time!

1- Van Halen by Van Halen (1978)

Van Halen finally enters my collection with their first release from 1978: Van Halen.
This incredible album contains Eruption, an important piece of music history.
Here we have an original 1978 Warner Bros. Records release, made in Germany (first release with green labels, as the American one) by WEA Musik GmbH, complete with the original black-and-white inner sleeve; the American version was printed in color.

I bought a Very Good Plus copy.
The outer sleeve is in rather bad contion: the paper is worn and aged, and there are several cracks.

However, the record plays well after a good wash with Knosti / HumminGuru, wich is the most important thing.

I'm really happy and proud to own this rock pearl!

2- Stella by Yello (1985)

My first Yello album!

I also  own a maxi single by this band, wich I bought many years ago.

This is an original 1985 Vertigo Records release, also made in Germany, just like the previous record.

Another pearl of its genre: Electropop, a genre that I like very much.

It's a fun album from beginning to end. It includes the song Oh Yeah, wich appeared in the soundtrack of the 1987 movie The Secret Of My Success.

The record and the cover are both in good overall condition, and the record plays great

=============================================

Both records arrived at my home very dirty, with heavy dust on both sides.
I first washed them with the Knosti, and then cleaned them ultrasonically with the HumminGuru
The sleeves were cleaned manually.

Hope you like these latest additions to my collection!

Thanks for reading and see you on Sunday.
