Bauhaus - 5 albums.

~JUST ARRIVED THIS WEEK:

an interesting Bauhaus CD box set from 2013 by Beggars Banquet, still sealed. It contains the four albums by the band plus a compilation featuring the singles released during their career.

A special CD box set that I wanted to buy as a big fan of the band.

I found it here in Italy on DiscoGS, still sealed and at a good price. I took two photos of the box set before the "opening act", while it was still wrapped in its cellophane.

I listened to In The Flat Field on my system and, in my opinion, the sound quality is good.

The five CDs are housed in paper sleeves, similar to the 2009 remeasters of the Beatles albums.

Negative points: 

On the Singles CD I would have included more tracks: 

Bela Lugosi's Dead in its original version, and Boys, which was released as the B-side of the 1979 single. Here we only have a mixed version (Tomb Raider mix) of Bela Lugosi's Dead. 

Not so great...

A sixth CD including Press Eject And Give Me The Tape would have completed the box set perfectly!

But these are just my personal opinions, nothing too important. This box set still remains an excellent release for Bauhaus fans.

I'm really happy to own it.
