As I mentioned last Sunday, I added four new albums to my collection: three from the '70s and one from 1982.
Well, let's start with some pictures!
Little Green Bag, the first album by George Baker Selection, released in 1969;
I've got an original Negram release made in Holland in 1970 that sounds WONDERFUL!!
Little Green Bag is also the title of the first track on this masterpiece; the song became famous through the 1992 Quentin Tarantino film Resevoir Dogs.
I LOVE that movie and I love the Super Sounds of the 70's!
So, I have a WEIRD project:
I want to collect the 70's albums from which K-Billy selected the songs that make up the film's soundtrack.
Next album, most likely, will be Stealers Wheel by ....... Stealers Wheel-the 1972 album featuring the song Stuck In The Middle With You, my all-time favorite from the Resevoir Dogs soundtrack!
Plastic Letters, the 1978 album by Blondie.
Here we have an original Chrysalis release from 1978, made in Holland.
Sounds good and more punk than next albums by Blondie.
MANIFESTO by Roxy Music!!
I love that album from 1979! I also have a CD release.
Here you can see an original 1979 canadian ATCO release.
The record was supposed to come with a black inner sleeve featuring the white WEA logo. It's missing, but fortunately, I have a pack of brand new black, anti-static inner sleeves, so:

FOREVER NOW by the Psychedelic Furs.
I bought that album for the song "Love My Way" (yes, I played GTA Vice City on my PlayStation 2 from 2002 until 2006).
UK 1982 CBS release; it has the original picture inner sleeve. The cover was supposed to contain a poster, but it's missing. >:\
Technical information: 🍸
These records arrived very, very, VERY dirty, covered in thick dust; so, I did a pre-wash with Knosti using only distilled water, followed by a Wash & Dry with Humminguru. Finally, I placed the records in new antistatic inner sleeves.
Excellent!
Thanks for reading and see you on Sunday!
