Here I am to show you three very important new additions to my Italo Disco collection - a collection made up of original 12" singles released in the '80s for Italian DJs. Many of these records are in excellent condition; some are quite worn-out, but still play well.
Let's start with:
1- Pretty Face by Stylóo (1983)
One of the most famous Italo Disco songs ever made. I found and bought this original 1983 Hole Records release, obviously made in Italy.
The record is in excellent condition and plays perfectly.
Nice shot!
2- Body Heat by Fockewulf 190 (1984)
Another 12" single from 1984, which I couldn't resist as a WWII enthusiast. In fact, the Focke-Wulf 190 was a german fighter plane used from 1941 to 1945.
But in this case, we are talking about an Italian electro-wave duo:
Dario Dell'Aere and Vittorio Barozzi.
They released several singles during the '80s and an album in 2010.
I found and bought this original and rare 1984 Market Records release. The record is in good condition, although the sleeve is a bit worn.
3- Shine On Dance by Carrara (1984)
Not a single, but an EP released by well-known Italian DJ Alberto Carrara.
Another important piece of Italian disco music from 1984, released by Keepon Musik.
This EP contains five tracks, including the famous Shine On Dance.
=====================================================
All the records and sleeves have been cleaned with the Knosti and the HumminGuru; I also replaced the inner sleeves with new ones.
In future, I will create a thread dedicated to Italo Disco music, where I can show you my entire collection of original singles and EPs from that unique period - a very special chapter in italian disco music history.
Thanks for reading and see you on Sunday!
