WELCOME to my new blog!

My name is Chris, I'm 37 years old and I'm from Italy.
In this blog, I want to share my interest in vintage things like typewriters, jukeboxes, retro cars and obviously my passion: RECORDS!

I started collecting records in 2014.
Today, my collection counts more or less 300 pieces, including 33 and 45 rpm, 12" and 7".

I know it's a really modest collection, but I never bought a record lot:

I purchase only records that I'm interested in.

...and so here I am!!!

These days, I'm waiting for my brand new turntable:

a fabulous TECHNICS SL-1500C.

Like everything, some people don't appreciate this turntable, and some loves it!
My dream turntable was the SL-1200 MkII - it was... because when I saw the 1500 for the first time, I fell in love with it:

"an """audiophile""" version of the 1200; a home version of the 1200."

Since 2014, I've had many turntables; I'll show you them in future posts, along with other vintage and weird stuff that I own.
