I wrote sad because I love old things, old style and design of old stuff;
besides old Hi-Fi devices especially, were made for a long life!!!
Well, my first system, from 2014 till 2021 was a Pioneer system from early 90's (XD-Z54T) with a turntable and speakers placed on chairs.
A view of the sadnessssssss, from 2018:
(the Colt 1911 on the left speaker is a Denix replica don't worry! I'm fond of WWII history)
In the picture you can see my old "Thorens TD-280 MKII" and my old fabulous "Marantz CD-5005" cd player, that I sold.................... sigh.
In the pics below, you can see my 2025 system:
My system is composed by these elements:
-Turntable: Technics SL-1500c, with factory "Ortofon 2M Red" cartridge;
-Amplifier: Advance Paris Xi75, a 75W warm sound device;
-CD player: Yamaha CD-S303; good working device with lovely vintage design, in silver finish.
IMPORTANT: if you want to buy a CD-S303, you must update the firmware!! My device had some problems during reproduction of many CDs, I'm talking about skips; the official Yamaha update will solve these problems.
-Speakers, here shorts and fat (thanks Windows 11 resizer!): Klipsch R620F, 100 W (RMS) speakers. The Advance Paris Xi75, with his warm sound, was the best idea for this kind of speakers.

In the last shelf, my two "Knosti Antistat" and some products for records care and maintenance! :-)
My system is proudly placed in a self-made Carrara marble flexy table! 🟩⬜🟥
That's all!
Thanks for the attention and see you on Sunday!
Blog updates:
on the right column added Radio.net widget: you can listen "80s DRIVE", a wonderful american radio, only music from 80's;
New vintage style title.
